UP Board Exam 2027: Date Sheet Out — Class 10 and 12 Exams from 5 to 24 February

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP), Prayagraj, has released the final date sheet for the 2027 High School (Class 10) and Intermediate (Class 12) board examinations. This is no longer a "wait for the announcement" story: the timetable was published on 12 October 2026 — weeks earlier than the previous cycle's November release — and it is listed on the board's own portal, upmsp.edu.in. Both classes are examined together, from Thursday 5 February to Wednesday 24 February 2027, in two shifts a day. Everything below is the confirmed schedule, what is still missing from it, and how to plan around the gaps the board has deliberately left in it.

Class 10 (High School) date sheet 2027 — main papers

Class 10 sits mostly in the morning shift. Hindi opens the entire board season on 5 February, and Agriculture closes it on 24 February.

Around these sit the smaller papers: NCC and Human Science (9 February), additional-language papers (15–16 February — sources conflict, see Flags), Urdu (19 February, evening), Drawing/Art (20 or 22 February — sources conflict, see Flags) and Music Vocal with Pali, Arabic and Persian (23 February). If you take any of these subjects, check your exact date in the official PDF rather than trusting any summary, this one included.

Class 12 (Intermediate) date sheet 2027 — main papers

Class 12 sits mostly in the evening shift — including on 5 February, when Class 10 writes Hindi in the morning and Class 12 writes the same subject in the afternoon. Do not copy a Class 10 timing onto a Class 12 paper.

Two warnings on this table. First, the two papers students most often mis-copy — Accountancy (23 February) and Computer (24 February) — are morning papers in an otherwise evening-shift examination; reach the centre by 8:00 AM for those, not 1:30 PM. Second, at least one major education site's summary table swaps English and Civics (8 vs 9 February); the board PDF, two other independent tables and that site's own stream-wise tables all agree on the order printed here. Verify against the PDF anyway.

Your stream at a glance

Science: Hindi 5 Feb → English 8 Feb → Biology/Mathematics 12 Feb → Chemistry 15 Feb → Physics 17 Feb → Computer 24 Feb (morning). Your hardest turnaround is Chemistry on Monday 15 February into Physics on Wednesday 17 February, with only Tuesday between them — front-load Physics revision before the board starts.

Commerce: Hindi 5 Feb → English 8 Feb → Economics 13 Feb → Business Studies 22 Feb → Accountancy 23 Feb (morning). Business Studies and Accountancy fall on consecutive days in different shifts — the single tightest spot in the Commerce calendar. Practise Accountancy numericals throughout February, not in the gap that does not exist.

Arts/Humanities: Hindi 5 Feb → English 8 Feb → Civics 9 Feb → History 10 Feb — three papers in three days at the very start — then Economics 13 Feb, Sociology 15 Feb, Geography 16 Feb and Sanskrit 24 Feb. Arts students are front-loaded: your season is effectively decided in the first week.

Class 10 gaps worth using: Social Science (8 Feb) to English (10 Feb) is your first real revision window; Mathematics falls on Saturday 13 February with Sanskrit on Monday 15 February, so the Sunday between them belongs to Sanskrit, not to recovering from Mathematics; Science on 17 February is the last heavy paper for most students — Computer and Commerce after it are shorter syllabi.

How to download the official date sheet PDF

  • Go to upmsp.edu.in.
  • Open the notices/downloads section on the homepage.
  • Select the notice for the High School and Intermediate Exam 2027 programme (time table), dated 12-10-2026.
  • The combined Class 10 + Class 12 date sheet opens as a PDF.
  • Download it, print it, and mark only your own subjects — the PDF also carries vocational, agriculture-stream and language papers that are not yours.

Practicals, forms and admit cards: what is already settled and what is not

The 12 October notice settles theory only. Practical examinations get their own notice; on the previous cycle's pattern they run in two regional phases in late January and February, before theory begins — treat any specific 2027 practical date you see today as tentative (see Flags) and get your school's confirmed dates in January. The examination-form process is already finished: under UPMSP's revised application schedule, treasury fee deposit closed 28 September 2026, student-data upload 30 September, corrections ran 1–6 October and photo lists went to the DIOS office by 15 October; a further extension for schools that had not generated candidate lists was reported to 22 October 2026 (single source, see Flags). If your details were wrong and the correction window has passed, raise it with your school now — the admit card prints from this data. Admit cards themselves are distributed through schools closer to the exams; no download date has been announced.

Common mistakes

  • Planning from a forwarded image. Screenshots of this date sheet are already circulating with papers shifted by a day. The PDF on upmsp.edu.in is the only version that counts.
  • Assuming both classes share a shift. Class 10 is a morning examination and Class 12 an evening one, with two Class 12 exceptions (Accountancy, Computer) in the morning.
  • Reading "8:30 AM" as writing time. The first 15 minutes are for reading the paper; writing starts at 8:45 AM / 2:15 PM. Arrive by 8:00 AM / 1:30 PM — late entry eats your reading time first.
  • Waiting for a practical date sheet that is already your school's job. Practical dates are executed school-by-school within the board's phase windows; your school, not a news page, confirms your day.
  • Treating 24 February as everyone's last day. Vocational and language papers are interleaved through the whole window; your last paper is the last one on your admit card.
