MP Board 2027: The Full Date Sheet Has Been Out Since August — Here It Is

Madhya Pradesh students are the luckiest in this year's board season, and most of them do not know it. The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) published the complete 2027 timetable on 13 August 2026 — the notice sits on the homepage of mpbse.nic.in — months before most boards release even a window. There is no "awaited" and no "expected" about the dates below: this is the final, subject-wise sheet for the main examination, plus the second-examination windows announced with it.

Both classes write in a single morning session, 9 AM–12 noon. Students are expected at the centre by 8 AM, seated by 8:30, and entry closes at 8:45 AM — in MP, reaching at 8:50 is not "slightly late," it is absent. Practical examinations for the main exam run alongside, from 1 February to 19 March 2027, conducted through schools.

Class 10 (High School) — 24 February to 18 March 2027

Class 10 (High School) — 24 February to 18 March 2027
DateSubject
24 FebruaryMarathi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Sindhi; Painting, Gayan Vadan, Tabla Pakhawaj, Computer
25 FebruaryNSQF subjects and Artificial Intelligence
27 FebruaryUrdu
2 MarchHindi
5 MarchMathematics (Standard and Basic)
9 MarchEnglish
12 MarchSanskrit
15 MarchScience
18 MarchSocial Science

Read the shape of this sheet, because it is unusually kind: the five heavy papers — Hindi, Mathematics, English, Science and Social Science — are spaced three to four days apart, and the examination closes with Social Science rather than opening with it. A student who starts serious revision in December can put a full mock-test cycle into each of those gaps. Note also that Mathematics is offered as Standard and Basic on the same day; confirm with your school which level your form carries, because that choice was made at form-filling and cannot be changed at the centre.

Class 12 (Higher Secondary) — 17 February to 19 March 2027

Class 12 starts a week before Class 10 and carries the far denser grid. The main subject dates from the official timetable: Hindi on 23 February, English on 26 February, Physics on 4 March, Biology on 8 March, Chemistry on 13 March and Mathematics on 16 March 2027, with the window opening on 17 February (Biotechnology, vocal/instrumental music, Tabla Pakhawaj) and closing on 19 March (Geography and other subjects). Between those anchors sit Sanskrit (20 February), NSQF/Physical Education/AI (22 February), Psychology (25 February), Informatics Practices (1 March), Sociology (3 March), Political Science (11 March), and Agriculture, Home Science and Accountancy (17 March). Science-stream students should mark the real pinch: Physics (4 March) to Biology (8 March) to Chemistry (13 March) to Mathematics (16 March) is four heavy papers in twelve days, with the gaps shrinking as the window goes on. Front-load Chemistry and Mathematics revision accordingly — do not distribute your effort evenly across a timetable that is not even.

The passing standard is 33% in each subject, in theory and practicals separately where practicals apply. Across both classes, MPBSE examines over 16 lakh students a year.

The second examination is already scheduled — know it, don't plan on it

Unusually, MPBSE published the 2027 second examinations in the same notice: Class 12 from 11 to 30 June 2027 and Class 10 from 15 to 30 June 2027. The second exam is the board's built-in recovery route for students who miss or underperform in the February–March sitting. Knowing the window exists should reduce panic, not effort: admission timelines for Class 11 and for undergraduate courses run off the main-exam result, and a June result competes for whatever seats remain. Treat June as insurance you hope not to claim.

Results: what to expect, honestly labelled

MPBSE has announced no 2027 result date. The pattern is consistent, though: the 2026 results for both classes were declared on 15 April, and an April 2027 declaration is the reasonable expectation — flagged here as an expectation, not a board statement. For calibration, the 2026 pass percentages were 73.42% in Class 10 and 76.01% in Class 12, with girls ahead of boys in both. Results are checked on the MPBSE/MPOnline result portals and DigiLocker using the roll and application numbers from the admit card.

Your action list

  1. Download the PDF from mpbse.nic.in todayand write out your personal dates — Class 12 students especially, because your grid is dense enough that a generic "Feb–March" plan will misallocate your hardest weeks.
  2. Fix your morning logistics now.The 8:45 AM entry cut-off is the single easiest way to lose a paper without writing a word; do a trial run to your centre on a weekday morning well before February.
  3. Confirm your Mathematics level (Class 10) and subject codes (Class 12)with your school against the form you actually submitted.
  4. Keep the admit card safewhen it comes through your school — its roll and application numbers are your result login, your retotalling login and your second-exam form login.

Madhya Pradesh has done its part early: a final timetable in August, subject dates with real breathing room in Class 10, and a published recovery window in June. The remaining variable in the MP Board 2027 story is not the board — it is whether students use the five months this early sheet gives them.
