Who can apply
Every condition below must hold at once:
- You are an Indian national, studying anywhere in India.
- You are enrolled in the first year of BBA, BFIA, B.Com (H/E), Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS), Integrated Programme in Management (IPM), B.A. (Economics), Bachelor in Business Studies (BBS) — or any other finance-related degree course. A genuinely finance-related programme outside the named list qualifies; an unrelated degree does not become eligible by being expensive.
- You scored at least 80% in both Class 10 and Class 12. For PwD students the bar is 70% in both.
- Your annual parental income from all sources does not exceed ₹6,00,000.
- You are not the child of an employee or contract employee of Hero FinCorp, the Raman Kant Munjal Foundation, or Buddy4Study — those applicants are expressly ineligible.
Two preferences shape selection without replacing the criteria: preference goes to children of farmers, domestic workers and economically disadvantaged families, and to applicants from Tier 3 and Tier 4 cities. If that is your background, the application is where it must show — accurately, and matched by your documents.
What you receive
Selected scholars receive financial assistance of between ₹40,000 and ₹5,50,000 per year, for up to three years. The spread is deliberate: the exact amount is set against your accepted college fee, so a scholar at a high-fee institution draws more than one at a low-fee college. The money covers essential education expenses — institution fees, examination fees, books, stationery and other academic costs — and it is paid by direct bank transfer (DBT). Two honest caveats from the programme itself: the award is subject to fund availability, academic performance and compliance with the programme guidelines, and ₹5.5 lakh is the ceiling of the range, not a standard award. Continuation across the three years is therefore something you maintain — by staying in the course, performing, and keeping your paperwork clean — not something the first selection guarantees outright.

- On the 'Raman Kant Munjal Scholarships 2026–27' form page, click Start Application.
- Complete the 'Check Your Eligibility' step first and confirm you pass all five conditions above — the partner builds this gate into the flow for a reason.
- Fill the full application form and upload the documents listed below.
- Accept the terms and conditions, tick every confirmation box, and click Preview.
- Read the preview as an examiner would — every number against its document — then click Submit. Save the confirmation; verification follows the file you submitted, not the file you meant to submit.
Documents you will need
A recent passport-size photograph; Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets; parents' PAN card and masked Aadhaar card; proof of current enrolment — college ID card for the current academic year, a demand receipt, a bonafide certificate, or the latest fee receipt; the URL of your LinkedIn profile; annual parental income proof from a competent authority — an ITR (all seven pages, reflecting all accounts), an income certificate, or salary slips for salaried parents; bank account statements of your parents; your own bank details (passbook copy or cancelled cheque in your name); and a signed affidavit stating that all documents provided are true to your knowledge. That affidavit is not decoration — it is the legal spine of the application, and it is why every figure in the form must match the papers.
Where applications fail
The 80/80 marks bar is the first filter and it is absolute — 79.8% in either board exam ends the application regardless of need. Behind it: income proved by one document and contradicted by the bank statements (the partner asks for both, and reads both); a first-year student applying for a course that is not finance-related and arguing from hardship alone; missing pages of the ITR; and leaving the application to the final week of October, when document corrections have no time to happen. Queries go directly to the foundation at [email protected], or by phone on 011-430-92248 (Ext. 326), Monday to Friday, 10 AM to 6 PM IST. With the 30 October deadline close, eligible first-years should treat this as a this-week task, not an end-of-month one.
