What is happening

The National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS), which works under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, is releasing the Tier-II results of the EMRS Staff Selection Exam (ESSE)-2025 in phases, post by post. The Tier-II examinations were conducted by CBSE between 22 and 25 March 2026 for the 7,267 teaching and non-teaching posts advertised for Eklavya Model Residential Schools. NESTS began declaring results on 3 September 2026 and has been issuing separate notices for each post or subject group since.

The notices published through mid-September, as compiled from NESTS announcements:

This is how NESTS runs the process: there is no single result day. If your post is not on the list yet — TGT English, Science and Social Science, Hostel Warden and the nursing posts were not showing notices by the end of September — the honest position is that your result is simply not out, not that you missed it.

The recruitment behind the results

ESSE-2025 is the examination route into the central Eklavya Model Residential School system: tribal residential schools run under NESTS across the country. The cycle is old enough that many candidates have been in it for a year: the notification came on 19 September 2025 and online applications closed on 28 October 2025. Tier-I was held on 13, 14 and 21 December 2025 with its result on 31 January 2026, and Tier-II followed in March 2026.

The 7,267 posts break down as follows: 3,962 Trained Graduate Teachers, 1,460 Post Graduate Teachers, 635 Hostel Wardens, 550 Female Staff Nurses, 228 Junior Secretariat Assistants, 225 Principals, 146 Lab Attendants and 61 Accountants. The advertised eligibility ran from Master's-plus-B.Ed for PGT and Principal posts, through graduate-plus-B.Ed-plus-CTET Paper II for TGT, to trade-specific qualifications for the non-teaching roles, with maximum age limits ranging from 30 (Accountant, JSA, Lab Attendant) to 50 (Principal).

For reference, the application fees in the ESSE-2025 notification were ₹2,500 for Principal, ₹2,000 for PGT/TGT and ₹1,500 for non-teaching posts for General/OBC/EWS candidates, and a ₹500 processing fee for SC/ST/PwD and all female candidates. Those fees are spent — they matter now only if a candidate later disputes a payment or compares a future cycle — but they are the figures any refund or grievance claim will be measured against.

How to check your result

  • Open the NESTS News Flash / ESSE-2025 result section on the official NESTS website (the site also carries result mirrors at examinationservices.nic.in).
  • Find the notice that names your post — the PDFs are post-wise, so a PGT English notice is useless to a TGT Maths candidate.
  • Download the official notice PDF and check the roll-number or registration-number lists for your shortlisting status and marks.
  • Log in with your registration number and password to view your individual scorecard.
  • Follow only the next-stage instructions in your post's notice. Do not follow dates circulating for other posts.

What comes after the Tier-II result

The next stage depends on the post:

What comes after the Tier-II result
Post groupNext stage after Tier-II result
Principal, PGT, TGTDocument verification, then interview where the post's rules provide for one
Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA)Skill test — shortlisted candidates were directed to await the schedule
PGT Computer ScienceSkill test, per the 7 September notice reporting
Accountant, Lab Attendant, other non-teachingAs stated in that post's own notice — read it, not another post's

NESTS has not published exact dates for these stages in the result notices — the notices say only that the schedule will follow on the NESTS website. That means three practical rules: check the official site weekly, keep every original document ready now, and treat any "final merit list" or date claimed by unofficial channels as a rumour until it appears in a NESTS notice.

Document-verification checklist — assemble it now

Shortlisted candidates are typically called with little notice, so build the file before the DV schedule lands:

  • Tier-I and Tier-II admit cards, application printout, and the Tier-II scorecard/result notice for your post
  • Class 10 certificate (date-of-birth proof) and Class 12 marksheet and certificate
  • Graduation and post-graduation degrees and marksheets (semester-wise where issued)
  • B.Ed degree and marksheets (teaching and Principal posts)
  • CTET Paper II certificate (TGT posts, where the notification required it)
  • Caste/category certificate in the format the notification prescribed, EWS certificate where claimed, PwD certificate where applicable
  • Experience certificates (Principal and any post where experience was an eligibility condition)
  • Government photo ID, passport-size photographs, and one full set of self-attested photocopies of everything above

The rule that catches candidates out: the documents are verified against what you claimed in the application form, not against what you can explain on the day. If a name spelling, category or qualification date differs between the form and the certificate, get the correction or affidavit ready in advance rather than at the verification desk.

The mistake to avoid

The pattern of this recruitment — a one-year cycle, phased post-wise results, and separate notices — makes it a magnet for lookalike result sites and "result out" videos that are simply wrong about whose result is out. There is one source of truth for your post: the NESTS News Flash notice naming it. Everything else is commentary. If your post's notice is not there, the result is not out, and checking daily is the only strategy you need.
